Death of Four-Year-Old Boy in Argentina: Autopsy Suggests Possible Abuse

Buenos Aires, April 9 (NA) – The first autopsy results on the body of Ángel, the four-year-old boy who died in Comodoro Rivadavia and for whom there are serious accusations against the mother, revealed internal injuries to the head. The results of the autopsy are currently confidential. Ángel's death occurred on Sunday, April 5, when emergency services responded to his home where he lived with his mother after he suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest. Although he was taken to the hospital, doctors confirmed his death, and doubts immediately arose about what happened inside the residence, the Argentine News Agency reported. The main hypothesis being considered in the case is a possible involvement of the mother in the child's death, following reports filed by the child's father and his circle. This theory has gained more weight after the first examinations confirmed that the boy had internal head injuries, according to the ADNSur portal. The autopsy results have not yet been released, but they will be crucial for gaining a deeper understanding of the case and determining if Ángel's death is linked to the involvement of third parties. As part of the investigation, a search was conducted at the mother's home, where cell phones and other items of interest to the case were seized. Furthermore, a wake was held for the child on Wednesday evening, followed by his final farewell at the Oeste cemetery in Comodoro Rivadavia.
